M2M2 PRAYER LOG - Join the M2M2 prayer team!

A group of us from Grace Community Covenant Church (graceconnections.com) and some other friends are traveling to Biloxi, Mississippi from December 26-31 to assist in relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina victims through an organization called ULM (http://www.ulmrelief.org/). This is a return trip for several of us (see gcccm2m.blogspot.com). You can join our effort by praying for the team and for those that we’ll be serving and serving with.

We ask that you take an active role in our trip by joining us in prayer. We’ll be posting to this blog before, during and after the trip. Please leave us a comment to let us know that you’re praying for us. Just click on "comments" below. Thanks!

I’m excited about returning to Mississippi because it’s an opportunity to make God’s love real to people in great need that have been ignored by the government. Please pray for unity in the team and that our efforts can help some people get back into their homes before FEMA recalls their trailers. -Pastor Steve

May the Lord of peace and compassion bless each of you. A passage for you: "With what shall I come to the Lord and bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings, with yearling calves? Does the Lord take delight in thousands of rams, in ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my first-born for my rebellious acts, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:6-8)

Hello Folks,

I heard there's a storm sweeping across the Southwest into Mississippi. I pray that it will be a short in duration. May the Lord sweep away the clouds and the sun shine upon you and your good works.
